Biosketch

Dr Rie Aoyama is currently a Consultant in the Paediatric Infectious Disease Division. She graduated in 2011 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with an honors in paediatrics. She completed her post graduate training in the National University Hospital, during which she served as a resident representative in the NUHS Residency Programme. She is also actively involved in teaching medical undergraduates and postgraduates as a clinical tutor in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.

Having been actively involved in overseas and community outreach during both her undergraduate and post graduate years, Dr Aoyama believes in the importance of health literacy and strives to advocate for her patients and families holistically.
