Outpatient Parenteral Antibiotic Therapy (OPAT)
Our paediatric OPAT service supports stable and recovering children who require extended antimicrobial treatment, enabling them to recover at home while maintaining daily routines like attending school. A specialty nurse will assist in wound care, manage intravenous lines and serves as a support contact for families of children with long-term infections.
